HD CT Scans with 3D

We are pleased to now offer high-definition CT scans with 3D.

This testing is highly recommended when the following occur:

Head & Neck:

• Swelling in the head (facial, oral, ear, ocular, etc.)
• Head trauma/fracture
• Pituitary tumor
• Nasophareyngeal polyp
• Nasal discharge
• Epistaxis
• Dental disease
• Tympanic bulla evaluation (middle vs. external ear disease distinction)
• Cervical masses (lymph node, thyroid, etc.)

Thorax:

• Lung metastasis check
• Source of pleural effusion
• Source of pneumothorax or pneumomediastinum
• Suspect lung lobe torsion
• Pulmonary masses
• Mediastinal disease/masses
• Staging of thoracic tumors

Abdomen:

• Portosystemic shunts
• Intra-abdominal masses (liver, spleen, adrenal, pancreas, etc.)
• Intravenous urogram for ectopic ureters
• Urethral mass & stones
• Colonic and rectal masses
• Staging of abdominal tumors

Other:

• Elbow dysplasia
• Complicated long bone joint or pelvic fractures
• Spinal fractures/luxations
• Appendicular skeleton mass (muscle, cutaneous, SQ and/or bone)
• Intrapelvic masses (prostate, cervix, vaginal)
• Discospondylitis
• Staging of any tumor
• Angular limb deformities
• When ultrasound is not definitive
